RULES: The races will be governed by the Racing Rules of
Sailing 2005-2008 and the MC Sailing
Association
(MCSA) Rules and Regulations. The
Sailing Instructions will take precedence
in case of
conflict. This is a MCSA sanctioned
event. Each skipper must be a current
member of MCSA and meet trophy age requirements before
the first scheduled race. Please
verify that you are member in good standing for
2007. If not, you can register at:

Trophy Presentation
SCORING: The Low
Point System, rule A4, will apply, except that each boat’s total score will be
the
Sum of her scores for all
races; in case seven (7) races are completed, her worst score will be excluded.
This changes RRS A2. Three (3) completed races shall constitute a regatta for
awarding perpetual trophies and declaring a National Champion. Keeper trophies
will be awarded if one (1) race has been completed.
TROPHIES: Along
with the various perpetual trophies that are awarded, keeper trophies will be
awarded
for
the following:
* Top 15 Overall (any age, male or female) * Top 3 Masters
* Top 3 Grand Masters * Top Mega Master
* Top Woman * Top Junior
* Top Single Handed Sailor
FACILITIES: For
the most part, boats will be dry sailed from the club parking lot and tennis
courts. There are two ramps. Launching
crews and tractors will be available to launch boats.
Boats can also be wet sailed. Buoys are
available and water taxis will transport you to
and from boats.
A limited supply of boat hoists will be assigned on a first come first
serve basis. There will be no parking
on yacht
club grounds. There is parking within walking distance of the club. After rigging your boats land taxis will take you to and
from parking areas.
